UN Road Safety Collaboration

In partnership with the United Nations (UN), the World Health Assembly has set up the Road Safety Collaboration to coordinate international collaboration on the topic of traffic deaths.



Together with regional UN agencies, the Collaboration strives to makes streets safer all over the world. The UN Road Safety Collaboration is developing a global plan with input from many partners that can be used as a guideline by governments, international agencies, civil society organizations, the private sector and other stakeholders. Areas of concern, amongst many others, are the safety of road infrastructure, broader transport networks, vehicle safety, the behavior of road users and improvements on post-crash care.
