DEGALAN® 40 F is a processing aid specially developed for foam applications. It imparts lower density at lower addition levels in comparison with DEGALAN® 10 FD / 10 F and 30 FD by also generating an excellent surface quality. DEGALAN® 40 F is very easy to disperse, ensuring its homogenous distribution in the PVC formulation. The use of DEGALAN® 40 F creates foam products with a fine-pored homogenous foam structure.
DEGALAN® 75 F is a processing aid with lubricating effect. This copolymer is built up by (meth-) acrylates and styrene, so it gives both an excellent compatibility in the PVC matrix and a lubricating effect on the surface. The release ability from hot metal parts such as dies, calender rolls, injection moulds, is improved without the disadvantage of plate-out brought by many external lubricants. DEGALAN® 75 F is used in PVC foam and film applications. The dosage differs from 0.5 phr to 2.5 phr.
